This is the first of two videos where I answer the question: “People struggle to hear me in public spaces. How can I have more volume without feeling like I’m screaming?”
I’ll talk more about what to do in spaces with a lot of background noise in the next video, but in this video I focus on some general tips for what to do if you feel like your voice is too quiet. While it might be tempting to solve this problem by just “being louder,” trying to be louder will probably not feel authentic to you so it will be difficult to maintain. Instead of solving this issue by thinking about volume, I advocate an approach that helps you get more specific about your intention in communication. Watch to find out more.
